Personality

Enjoys talking to people, especially about his interests. Curious to learn more and understand whatever he can. Looks like some ancient Roman god who'll smite you for talking to him, is actually surprisingly approachable.

Head and face

Nanite visor the colour of the night sky, no light pollution here!
Four eyes and four ears, all the better to see and hear you with.
Two phoenix feathers and a golden laurel crown, collected from ... somewhere? Probably?
Messy hair, cus there is far more important stuff to keep busy with.

Body and markings

Complicated markings all over the body, in particular the legs and tail area.
Very long tail, can probably be used as blanket, pillow or ladder. Don't try it though.
Golden armour to protect the legs and chest. Except not gold cause gold is not hard enough. Don't tell anyone but it's actually gold coated titanium alloy.
Slightly muscular build, probably some ancient magic. Or could be the going to the gym actually. Who knows.

Interests

Obsessed with anything space, technology, plane or engineering related. Avid enjoyer of staring at black holes in the dark void of the cosmos. Also really enjoys going to the gym, nothing better to get your mind off things than throwing around weights.

Entropy

Entropy, Ichoran of a thousand faces, every one the same. He's a shapeshifter after all, except he mostly stays in this form. Has just as many names as he has forms, if not more. He gets called a lot of things that vaguely sound like Entropy and a lot of things that don't even come close.

Lore

The Ichoran (pronounced Ih-core-on) are an alien species that have learned how to biologically harness the power of the sun, bringing them to Type I-A before eventually evolving into a Type II civilization. Ichoran is a closed species. They have a few biological subtypes, called clans, and differentiate jobs as Orders: militants, engineers, farmers, explorers, and many combinations of the two (explorer-engineers, and so on). Full names follow the form Clan-Order-Ichoran, so Entropy is a Solnyr Apsis Ichoran: sun-shifted clan, Apsis Order — the aerospace and Dyson-sphere engineering Order that drives the civilization’s evolution forward. His partner Trestle is a Solskarn Breachline Ichoran, of the sun-scarred clan and the militant-explorer Order. Solveth, the sun-bound, is another clan among them.

The Ichoran’s blood contains nanites, formally called Solocytes in the alien tongue, which increase lifespan, repair internal and external biological damage, and harness the power of the stars. This last function requires proximity, within a few light-years, to any star; otherwise, biological functions decrease and aging occurs faster. To survive the environments their Orders take them into, they often wear masks that assist in surviving extreme conditions, translate other species’ languages into their own tongue, provide night and thermal vision, and handle communication. The mask gives them an appearance that reads, to outsiders, as quite protogen-like.

Clan Solnyr operate on a precision wavelength. Their Solocytes are adapted for energy manipulation rather than raw combat: the blood acts as a localized conductive network, allowing them to interface directly with highly advanced machinery. This makes them unparalleled engineers and architects, with higher raw intelligence, capable of mentally syncing with the massive technology they build. They are engineers in the most literal sense, because they can physically send their consciousness into machinery to fix things that are broken. Entropy’s Apsis specialization places him at the leading edge of Dyson-sphere engineering and stellar-scale design.

Clan Solskarn, by contrast, evolved on the harshest, most volatile frontiers of the Ichoran home system. Their Solocytes run hot, optimized for raw physical output, rapid tissue regeneration, and surviving kinetic trauma. This is why Solskarn-Apsis or Solnyr-Breachline pairings are rare: biological predisposition adds weight to the Clan-Order system. Ichoran consciousness is stored biomechanically within their Solocytes and is transferable to other biological bodies. This does not amount to true immortality: the Solocytes must eventually return to their host, or they forget who they are, decaying until function ceases.
